They outdid themselves on Mother’s Day! Excellent food; they had a buffet for an amazing price which was incredible. So many brunch options! Delicious cocktail shrimp, incredible French toast, lots of choices for sweets, bacon, etc. you name it, they had it available! It was 11/10! Our service was excellent. Ambiance was incredible; they had the outside seating available and it was just perfect. Absolutely solid experience. Kudos to the staff and chef!

I came in for dinner my very first night in Wilmington. My first impression upon walking in is that this is a cute little tavern with a nice ambiance. The host in the front of the house was friendly and very welcoming. I ordered from the Prix Fixe menu for restaurant week, and the service was super slow when it came time for me to get the second course of my meal. Other patrons who came in after me were getting their orders way before me. My server, Lindsay, was super sweet and kept checking on what the hold up was. Since my order was so delayed, she made up for it by giving me a second cocktail on the house. The items I ordered tasted really good, and my Herb Crusted Ahi Tuna was perfectly seasoned. When I got the bill, I noticed the 20% service fee already added. I have seen this mentioned on other reviews. Since the fee wasn't that much, I still added an additional tip for my server as I didn't blame her for the delay in getting my food. Overall, the restaurant is pretty clean, and they have a good-sized menu with decent prices. In spite of the little blunder from the kitchen and the additional fee on the bill, I would give this place another shot the next time I visit the area.

The food was very good even though it came out super late. The young man I had as a server must have been new and he tried his hardest which I give props too. I don't think it was his fault, but the whole establishment seemed off. Had a party 25 and had two servers which they both tried but the whole establishment set them up for failure. We didn't have any silverware or napkins and had to ask repeatedly along with drinks and water. The food even though a 45-60 min wait was hot and fresh. The place didn't seem busy so maybe their short staffed. The automatic gratuity saved their money as from some of the other tables, the tip would have been very low. I think the management needs either to help or set up servers for success. Not once did one manager come to greet and check out us. Food prices where decent and food was really good. Give it a shot, but know you might encounter some really bad service.

My first time coming to this restaurant I was amazed because for as long as I been in the city I never really realized it . Lol well I went in and I had the BEST 1st experience. I didn’t get to grab a picture of my food but everything came out nice and hot and my server Lina did an amazing job with serving me . She seemed well experienced , knew what she was talking about and definitely a great vibe lol . After having such a great experience I ended up going back and let me just say this I wasn’t a Beet eater before but after I had their Beet and Walnut with the Salmon added I haven’t stop eating beets yet ! That damn salad was a 10/10 nahhhhh fuck that a 10000/10 ! The Lemon poppyseed dressing is literally one of the best ive had everrrrrr ! Lina definitely did her thing that night with recommending that Beet and Walnut salad . I can say since I’ve been going here I always have the best experiences from the food to the drinks I say 10/10 across the board. If your looking for a great lowkey spot with great vibes and food & stays open pass 12am then I say go dine in at Chelsea’s ! Just hosted a meal of comfort here and was so pleased. We are from out of town and so the task of finding the right place for such an occasion was daunting. Maddie was the first to respond to my many inquiries and she made planning so incredibly easy. Planning the menu was easy. On the day of, our server Trish(?) was so caring and responsive. There were 34 in our party and I heard great compliments from the many guests. Thank you Chelsea Tavern for putting the comfort in our meal of comfort.

Very cool vibe bar restaurant with dining upstairs and downstairs. Excellent vegan choices. Conveniently located near major venues in the city.

Elevated pub food! PEI muscles and beet salad with salmon was excellent! Mrs got a panini, which she loved!
